Summer work

During the summer months we spend more time in the water then in the office , for this reason we did not update our website yet.
Last month we did next to dayly rafting trips and weekly 2-3 times Canyoning also the team building event for the KIMBERLY& CLARK group from Russia in the Kursunlu selale .
During these summer months we have 3 boys from Cios Goes in Holland over, they have there school stage here at Do it ! adventure (6 weeks) we are very pleased with them and they show good effort in work and we have a lot off fun with them.

Last but not least is the new group event at 3 september , 190 pax Romanian group will have a ultimate beach event. this and more events will be put on the web page asap.

Our newest Instructor Noa Nehir Holleman

10-08-2010 became a day for the Do it group never to forget.
11.56 our daughter was born in good health, Gonca is doing great and both came home 2 days later and recover good.
Noa Nehir 3 kilo 430 gram and 48 cm.

We are all happy and want to thank all relatives,frends and business colleages for the good wishes we recieved .

Fly fishing trip

The first Fly Fishing trip was a success , we took the famous Norwegian fly fisher man trond and Helge down the lower koprulu river where we tried to catch trout on a hot- sunny day.
The scenery was stunning ,the fiching spot countless, and the guys really enjoyed them selfs on boeard off our raft.
The trip was carefully planned by us and we hath all things ready when they arrived at the beach , our friend emin (just back from Slovenia) filmed and made several great pictures off the whole trip.

we definetly exspect to have more request for Fly fishing trips,as these famous guest will spread the word in scandinavia and connect our website to several flyfishermans sites.
for my self ( tom) it was a dream come treu.

Tui promotion day

Tui Promotion day ( Gloria Golf Hotel Belek)

Tufan and Tom working at the stand we made for the tui personel, our old 3 star guide Gamze now working for Tui operation brought us a visit and took care for us .
This day was very good organized by mr.Harun ertan and Baris bay thanks from The Outdoor connecction Nova & Do it ! Adventure

We hope the reps can sell our great tour and hope to see them soon for Canyoning with us.

New Guides training & Rotarac weekend .

last weekend we started to train 3 new guides who all look very eager to learn all about our Do it Adventure activity's.

During this weekend we teach them the first rules and techniques which are the bacics to become an instructor.

On Saturday Tom and Head guide Kivance took them one by one on the course and showed them how and what to do .

After completing the whole course we practiced several safety-rescue techniques (how to get people safely back on the cables - ground when they would fall down and hang in the sky.)

On Sunday the new guides got a space with Tom - Gonca and Kivance and assisted them on the medium ,high rope and climbing wall .

All guides where happy with the help they goth from the new ones and look forward to get them in to the Do it team ,we will soon have them back for a new training day ( climbing-safety-water)

For all who want to become part off the Do it family ,we still have space for new Guides.

Next event will bring us in to the Kocain cave and soon we will start with the Canyoning tours.

Masimo Raft building race

The winner is........

Last week we organized a team building day for the Middle east and Africa division from the Swiss based medical instrument company Masimo .

The group from 70 participants ( doctors and medical representatives ) took the challenge serious and competed against the Masimo staff ( on request) and yes the group NR 3 won the whole competition .

Even the Do it team competed with them on the Tug a war game and yes we won 1 pull but against the big man from team 3 we also hat to surrender , our hands where ruff from puling and sand could be found everywhere on our body's

From here on i want to thank the whole team again for their work ,Arda,Serhat,Osman,Mike,Jemre,Gonca en Melek .

the day was a great success and the 2 new guides liked it as well and will come for further training to the park where we expect several new groups end of April beginning may

Selge Trekking day

Last months the Do it Adventure team came together to speak about the future , as we see it now 2010 becomes a bit better then 2009 , several big group request came in 250 and even 900 pax groups want to come to Antalya and booked a team building event where we're working on at this time .
On a splendid day in April we took the staff from the Hillside su hotel out for a refreshing walk in the Koprulu National park, they needed some fresh air after a night of party and fun. The 2,5 hour walk from Selge down towards Beskonak we hath beautiful view's on the national park ,and a good explanation from our guide Adem who showed us the in and outs from the 1500 year old village Selge where he was born and raised in .

The sky was clear that day and a nice mild sun took care for a tan on our faces , we all enjoyed the walk and talk , all off us took pictures from the beautiful rock formations ,and landscape.
the lunch at the Do it base camp was wonderful thanks to the chefs there.

We hope to see the staff from Hillside Su Hotel back for a more adventures Secret Canyon Adventure in June -July.

Around end off December Do it ! Adventure owners Tom and Gonca hat an
intervieuw with the local Antalya times newspaper, they where very supprised to find out that we already started in 2003 and by that we are really the first adventure park in Antalya .
All the new copy adventure parks can pretend and atvertise as the first ,the only ,the best etc adv-park but not much is througed from this.

The artikel what came out is written in German and has some big faults in there , so they call the village in where we are ast Karagoz ( Karaoz is true) also we do bungee jumping ??????
no we do not do bungee jumping and are also not plannning it .
But the best off all: they discribe the Famous Matrix flight as a flight from 30 meter ......
Let me call this a little bit funny as our smallest flight is 60 meter and the Matrix has 230 meter cable long circa 18 seconds flight.

But on gerneral yes the rest off it is true written and they are planned to write a new artikel about canyoning in the spring- summer time

Anyway it is a free advertisment for Do it !Adventure and we need all that we can get to make this year succesfull

BASF GROUP in the Adam & Eve Hotel

The Do it team came together to make a new team building day for the BASF group
230 participants would come for team building session , team power team energy and team trust made them realize that a good team can do all .

We set up a course of 5 games and a bridge building competition , the group what showed up was not the expected 230 but we counted still a 120 participants who where very enthusiastic and competed very hard at the games.
Our team members Hadi, Gamze, Samet ,Chihan,Kivance,Cansin helped all teams to score the best games .

The tug a war game became the most favorite game , several team got extra man who jumped in to help there friends , we as Do it team also putted the rope to our hands .
After the Games the teams got a drink before they started to built there bridges.

The result was very good only one team could not finished in time, 9 new style bridges where tested on their strength, the best 3 bridge could hold over 5 kilo . amazing when you consider that the bridges are made by some wooden sticks ,pipette and tape.

The best team nr 9 got the winner prize and celebrated it in style .
After a good lunch we went back home ,happy that we again made people work together in a great funny way .

Team building is simple ; its less me and more we.

Bulgaria

At this moment we are planning the trip to Bulgaria where İ will have a meeting with Zebec Europe to develop the testing of a new 1 person craft -raft-kayak design .

During my visit i will get a intensive raft repair course and certificate ,back in Turkey i will offer the services as the only certificated Zebec raft repair man and will start to test the new prototypes on several river types in Turkey.

Do it ! Adventure Test Team

For 2010 we are making our own Test Team ,at this moment we have several candidates screened ,all coming from Adventures back ground .

The test team will test New & old Do it ! Adventures and will Function as Promotion team.
